Job description

This is a remote position.

Mate / Engineer – 30m Sailing Yacht

Location: Italy (yard) → Mediterranean & Caribbean

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: DOE

We are seeking a Mate/Engineer to join a 30m Sailing Yacht currently based in Italy. This is an exciting position for a hands-on, proactive candidate with strong engineering expertise and solid sailing experience.

The Role:

You will play a key part onboard, supporting both deck operations and engineering systems. The yacht will cruise the Mediterranean with the owner in June/July, followed by a yard period in August/September to prepare for a winter season cruising the Caribbean.

Itinerary:

Now: Italy (yard period)
June/July: Mediterranean cruising with owner
Aug/Sept: Yard period / refit prep
Winter: Caribbean season
