Job description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Mobile Application Architect/Python Developer to design and build a secure, scalable mobile payment application, comparable in functionality to platforms like PayPal. The solution will be deployed on both Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android).
This role combines hands-on development with end-to-end architectureresponsibilities, ideal for a professional who has practical experience delivering similar platforms in production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement a secure, compliant, and scalable mobile payment solution
Define and deliver end-to-end system architecture (frontend, backend, integrations, and infrastructure)
Develop backend services using Python
Integrate the application with existing backend systems, including Odoo
Ensure data protection, transaction security, and regulatory compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a robust production-ready solution
Contribute to architectural decisions, technical standards, and best practices
Requirements
Proven experience designing and implementing end-to-end application architectures
Strong hands-on development experience with Python
Experience building or contributing to financial or transactional platforms (e.g., payments, wallets, FinTech solutions)
Solid understanding of:
Secure application design
API design and integrations
Scalable and distributed systems
Experience integrating with ERP systems (Odoo is a strong plus)
