Industrial Engineer Consultant (Supply Chain Operations)

Oxford Solutions is working with a growing consulting organization seeking an Industrial Engineer Consultant to lead operational improvement projects for supply chain and distribution clients across the U.S. This is a direct hire opportunity for someone with strong industrial engineering expertise and experience leading client-facing operational initiatives.

Pay Rate: 115K+

This role is ideal for an Industrial Engineer who enjoys solving complex operational challenges, improving workforce productivity, and working directly within distribution, warehouse, and fulfillment environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead supply chain consulting engagements focused on productivity improvement, labor optimization, and operational efficiency
• Conduct operational assessments, time studies, workflow analysis, and process evaluations within warehouse and distribution environments
• Develop labor standards, process improvements, and operational recommendations to improve performance and throughput
• Analyze workforce, productivity, and operational data to identify measurable improvement opportunities
• Partner directly with client leadership teams to implement process improvements and operational strategies
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with stakeholders and project teams
• Manage project timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple consulting engagements
• Mentor and support junior consultants and project team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of experience in consulting, industrial engineering, or supply chain operations improvement
• Strong understanding of industrial engineering principles including time studies, labor standards, Lean methodologies, and process improvement
• Experience supporting distribution centers, warehouses, fulfillment operations, or logistics environments
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

Travel Requirements:

• Travel is typically Monday through Thursday at client locations across the U.S.
• Candidates must live within commuting distance of a major U.S. airport
• Ability to travel approximately 60–80%
