Job description

Our Client, a Financial company, is looking for an ATM Software Engineer for their Remote location.
 
Requirements:
  • Top Skills (Must have): Deep experience in ATM software and hardware integration
  • Ability to work across low-level systems, embedded environments, and security layers
  • Strong understanding of ATM-specific tech stacks (not interchangeable with general software engineering)
  • Ideal candidates are highly specialized—true subject matter experts in the ATM space
  • Preferred Skills (Like to have):
  • NCR
  • Diebold Nixdorf (DN)
  • Hyosung
  • These candidates are rare and highly competitive, with demand across all major banks
  • Talent pool is global, and client is open to strong remote candidates (currently has team members across the U.S. and Europe)
  • Strong candidates are often passive and may only become available intermittently (e.g., leaving another bank)
  • Soft skills (communication, organization etc.):
  • High level of independence and ownership – candidates must be able to take a problem and fully drive it to resolution
  • Strong problem-solving under pressure – often dealing with novel, real-world security threats
  • Ingenuity and resourcefulness – there is often no one to escalate to; they must figure things out on their own
  • Ability to operate as the “last line of defense” in critical situations
  • Reliability—Manager emphasized wanting someone he can trust to execute without constant oversight
