SAP BASIS Specialist
Portland, OR (remote)
12+ Months Contract

Summary
Experienced SAP BASIS Administrator responsible for supporting SAP ABAP and JAVA stacks across on-premises and cloud environments, including SAP RISE and SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition (PCE) deployed in Azure. The role supports SAP system administration, upgrades, migrations, troubleshooting, and enterprise application support across multiple SAP solutions.
Responsibilities

  • Support SAP ABAP and JAVA stack environments.
  • Support SAP Cloud go-live implementations and upgrade projects.
  • Support SAP S/4HANA migration projects using Selective Data Transition (SDT).
  • Support SAP RISE / SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition (PCE) environments deployed in Azure.
  • Perform SAP and non-SAP enterprise application installation, setup, patching, troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination activities.
  • Support SAP system design, configuration, and functionality in both on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Support system development lifecycle activities, data modeling, and complex technical issue resolution.
  • Maintain and support operating systems including UNIX, Linux, Windows, and AIX.
  • Support SAP solutions including ECC6, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, BOBJ, PO, BPC, HANA, SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, Cloud Connector, Fiori/Gateway, SAC, BDC, Datasphere, and Solution Manager.
  • Support SAP solutions including BTP, Integration Suite, CALM, Joule, DP Agent, Cloud Connector, Business Data Cloud, Analytics Cloud, Datasphere, Signavio, and Cloud Identity Services.
  • Provide remote on-call support outside regular work hours, including nights and weekends.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible IT experience as an SAP BASIS Administrator.
  • Minimum five (5) years as an SAP BASIS Administrator supporting SAP ABAP and JAVA stacks.
  • Experience supporting at least two (2) major SAP Cloud go-live implementations and/or upgrade projects.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration using Selective Data Transition (SDT).
  • Experience supporting SAP RISE / SAP Cloud ERP Private / SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition.
  • Experience with SAP RISE (SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition (PCE)) deployed in Azure.
  • Experience administering SAP and non-SAP enterprise solutions in on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Experience with SAP system design, configuration, and functionality.
  • Experience with system development lifecycle, data modeling, and complex technical issue resolution.
  • Experience with data maintenance, retrieval, and operating systems including UNIX, Linux, Windows, and AIX.
  • Experience with SAP solutions including ECC6, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, BOBJ, PO, BPC, HANA, SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, Cloud Connector, Fiori/Gateway, SAC, BDC, Datasphere, and Solution Manager.
  • One (1) year of experience supporting BTP, Integration Suite, CALM, Joule, DP Agent, Cloud Connector, Business Data Cloud, Analytics Cloud, Datasphere, Signavio, and Cloud Identity Services
