Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Nursing or Science (BSN, MSN, MPH, DNP or PhD) from an accredited institution and five years of experience as a Vascular Access Nurse, Infusion Nurse, or Infection Control Professional.
  • Board Certification in Vascular Access and/or Infection Control.
  • Industry experience in Medical Device Field, preferably in a Medical Affairs role.
  • Strong understanding of the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, including clinical research processes and regulatory requirements; excellent communication and presentation skills; proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and researchers to facilitate exchange of information about Solventum's products and services.
  • Provide comprehensive scientific and clinical support to internal teams (e.g., sales and marketing) and assist in the development of educational materials.
  • Present clinical and product information at medical conferences, meetings, and symposia, ensuring accurate and effective communication of the value of Solventum products.
  • Identify and engage collaborations with external researchers and institutions to explore potential clinical research initiatives and studies related to Solventum's products.

As a Medical Liaison, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people in their fields of expertise. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders, health care professionals and researchers to facilitate the exchange of information about our products and services.  

  • Providing comprehensive scientific and clinical support to internal teams, including sales and marketing, and assist in the development of educational materials.

  • Supporting new product development teams and assisting with structured advisory panels.

  • Presenting clinical and product information at medical conferences, meetings, and symposia, ensuring accurate and effective communication of the value of Solventum products.

  • Identifying and engaging in collaborations with external researchers and institutions to explore potential clinical research initiatives and studies related to our products.

  • Gathering and communicating feedback from healthcare professionals regarding product performance, patient outcomes, and potential areas for product development.

  • Providing training and education to internal teams and external stakeholders on product usage, safety, and clinical benefits.

  • Ensuring that all activities comply with relevant regulatory and ethical standards, maintaining the integrity and reputation of Solventum.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree (or higher) in Nursing or Science (BSN, MSN, MPH, DNP or PhD) from an accredited institution AND five (5) years of working experience as a Vascular Access Nurse, Infusion Nurse, Infection Control Professional.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Board Certification in Vascular Access and/or Infection Control

  • Industry experience in Medical Device Field, preferably in a Medical Affairs role

  • Strong understanding of the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, including clinical research processes and regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.

  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

  • Travel as needed to engage with healthcare professionals and attend industry conferences.

Work location: Remote- USA

Travel: May include 50% domestic/international travel.

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $125,600 - $172,700, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
