  • 9+ years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure services (Azure VMs, Storage, AKS, VNet, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, Azure Firewall, Monitor, Backup, Site Recovery, Key Vault, Entra ID/Azure AD, Application Gateway/WAF)
  • Deep Linux administration experience in enterprise production environments with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes deployment, upgrades, and troubleshooting
  • Multi-cloud experience with AWS and/or GCP; strong scripting/automation (Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, Python); CI/CD/DevOps tooling; networking and security best practices (CIS/NIST)

Requirements:

  • Design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud and hybrid infrastructure on Azure and on-premises with high availability and disaster recovery
  • Architect and manage secure Azure networking (VNets, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, Firewall, NSGs, Load Balancers, Application Gateway/WAF) and oversee Kubernetes/AKS deployments
  • Lead customer onboarding and migration projects; deploy and administer Linux/Windows servers; manage Active Directory/Entra ID and hybrid identity
  • Automate provisioning and operations with Terraform and IaC; collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD; monitor with Azure Monitor/Prometheus/Grafana/Nagios and ensure security/compliance

Axway is seeking a highly skilled cloud infrastructure expert with deep hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure, enterprise infrastructure operations, Kubernetes, Linux administration, and hybrid cloud environments. This role will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and supporting mission-critical cloud infrastructure solutions for enterprise customers globally.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure, cloud-native technologies, containerized environments, Kubernetes orchestration, Linux systems administration, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices. Multi-cloud experience across AWS and/or GCP is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure and on-premises technologies.
  • Architect and support highly available, resilient, and disaster recovery-enabled infrastructure environments.
  • Design and implement secure Azure networking solutions including:
    • VNets
    • ExpressRoute
    • VPN Gateway
    • Azure Firewall
    • NSGs
    • Load Balancers
    • Application Gateway / WAF
  • Deploy and support mission-critical applications using Azure infrastructure services.
  • Act as technical lead for customer onboarding, migration, and cloud infrastructure projects.
  • Design, deploy, administer, and troubleshoot enterprise Linux and Windows server environments.
  • Manage Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and hybrid identity integrations.
  • Deploy, administer, and support Kubernetes environments, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes orchestration technologies.
  • Manage Kubernetes cluster operations including scaling, upgrades, patching, monitoring, ingress, storage, and security.
  • Partner with DevOps and engineering teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native application deployments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational activities using Terraform, scripting, and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
  • Administer infrastructure monitoring and observability platforms such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and Nagios.
  • Support enterprise hosting technologies including backup, replication, storage, proxy, and load balancing solutions.
  • Provide advanced L3 support across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and storage platforms.
  • Perform infrastructure lifecycle management, patching, capacity planning, and operational optimization.
  • Participate in audits, disaster recovery testing, operational governance, and security compliance initiatives.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive long-term operational improvements.
  • Participate in after-hours support rotations and scheduled maintenance activities as required.
Qualifications:
  • 9+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure services including:

    • Azure Virtual Network

    • ExpressRoute
    • VPN Gateway
  • Strong experience supporting hybrid cloud and hybrid identity environments.
  • Deep hands-on Linux administration experience in enterprise production environments.
  • Strong expertise with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong hands-on experience deploying, administering, upgrading, and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments.
  • Experience supporting cloud-native architectures, microservices platforms, and container orchestration frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes ecosystem technologies including:
    • Helm
    • RBAC
    • Ingress Controllers
    • Persistent Storage
    • Cluster Networking
    • Monitoring & Logging integrations
  • Strong scripting and automation experience using Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, Python, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tooling such as Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Puppet, or Ansible.
  • Strong networking knowledge including routing, switching, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, reverse proxy, HAProxy, and NGINX.
  • Experience implementing infrastructure hardening and security best practices aligned to CIS and NIST frameworks.
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability platforms.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow, Salesforce, Jira, or similar ITSM/ticketing platforms preferred.
  • Multi-cloud experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) strongly preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced production operations environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience collaborating across global teams.
  • Customer-first mindset with strong stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) preferred
  • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) preferred
  • AWS Solutions Architect certification is a plus
