Position Summary:Primary Accountabilities:
ServiceNow Development and Customization:
Design, develop, and implement complex solutions within the ServiceNow platform, including custom applications, workflows, integrations, and automations.
Perform advanced customization of the ServiceNow platform, including UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and script includes.
Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and other integration methods.
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to ServiceNow best practices and coding standards.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of ServiceNow applications and integrations.
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior ServiceNow developers.
Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and consistency.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of ServiceNow development standards and best practices.
Stay up-to-date on the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and technologies.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, weekly stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
Operational Support:
Provide support for ServiceNow requests, incidents, changes and problems.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Monitor ServiceNow performance and identify areas for optimization.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and implementation.
Strong architectural understanding of Common Service Data Model (CSDM) as well as Service Portfolio Management (SPM).
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
Experience with ServiceNow APIs and integration methods.
Expertise in implementing and optimizing ITIL aligned processes to enhance service management.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Specific Technical Skills Needed:
Must have experience in ITOM or ITAM (HAM and SAM) implementation.
Extensive experience with ServiceNow scripting, workflows, and integrations.
ServiceNow Administration and New Application Implementation.
Proficiency in ServiceNow Security and Access Control (ACLs / Roles).
