WORK TYPE: Full Time - working standard business hours but must be available during evenings and weekends as needed
LOCATION DETAILS: Remote United States
TRAVEL: Event travel and attendance at staff meetings & training is required. Event travel will include overnight stays for events. As part of the event operations team during the event season which runs from October thru April this role is expected to be available to work 2-3 weekends per month and attendance at select end of season events in May.
COMPENSATION: The pay range for this position is $70,000-95,000 annually, plus the opportunity to earn performance-based incentives.
The base salary will vary based on criteria such as education, experience and qualifications of the applicant, location, internal equity, and alignment with the market.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
The New Business Development Advisor reports to the Director of Sales, Events but also works closely with the Division VPs for Varsity All Star Fashion. Responsible for assigned all star accounts and the sales success of the Small Gym Summit Championship. Event travel and attendance at staff meetings & trainings is required.
The New Business Development Advisor plays a critical role in establishing a trusted partnership with customers, our internal regional stakeholders and the other Sales Advisors. They will ensure their customers are getting value and satisfaction from all purchases and interactions with Varsity All Star Events and Fashion. They will interact frequently with the Director of Competition Experience, Sales and Experience Advisors and Fashion Specialist(s) to share updates and strategize about company goals and customer needs. They will be responsible for connecting regularly with regional leadership to report customer-related challenges or issues, effectively and amicably resolve those issues, and collaborate to establish changes as needed. This role is expected to gain new business and establish rapport with our customers. Revenue impact will be measured based on new account revenue growth and overall success of assigned account(s) as well as the enrollment of the Small Gym Summit Championship. The New Business Development Advisor looks for and drives opportunities for expansion within each account focusing on events and Varsity All Star Fashion.
