Job description

Digital Socius is a leading IT Consulting and Services company. We are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sustainable growth. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Outbound SaaS Sales Specialist with a background in account-based marketing and a strong understanding of IT services to join our team.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeping and Payroll Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing payroll, and ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
  • Record and classify financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Payroll Processing:

  • Manage and process payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
  • Calculate and process employee salary, bonuses, overtime, and deductions accurately.
  • Prepare and distribute paychecks and statements on time.

Financial Reporting:

  • Generate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide regular financial updates to management and assist with budget preparation.

Tax Compliance:

  • Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Maintain records and documentation for audits.

Client Management:

  • Manage relationships with clients, process invoices, and make payments in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

Record Keeping:

  • Organize and maintain financial files and records for easy retrieval.
  • Ensure data confidentiality and security.


Requirements

  • A HND or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books etc).
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
