Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking Communications Specialists to join our team supporting various government customers. Are you a motivated self-starter that has a passion for helping customers solve complex challenges. VIKINT is a newly formed corporation, founded by a team of veterans with over 75 years of experience serving in the US military, Federal agencies, and commercial organizations. VIKINT is a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), business and technology service provider with company values that define and drive our priorities and commitments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Leading and implementing communication tasks.

·        Develop communication and advertising campaigns and responses to inquiries.

·        Assist with determining communication objectives, media selection, media placement, and evaluation of advertising strategies. Responds to communication challenges with creative solutions.

·        Relay progress to client on a regular basis.

·        Creates content for information campaigns, press briefings and editorials.

·        Keeps abreast of industry news and trends and writes analysis.

·        Provides communications-related assistance with program management services including financial and business solutions, video production, and graphic design tasks.

·        Assist with integrated marketing and integrated business program tasks.

·        Assist business/technical staff in resolving problems.

·        Support Business Development team with research, whitepapers, and proposals.



Requirements

·        Positive and enthusiastic attitude

·        Strong desire to learn, drive work, and self-initiative

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·        Adobe Creative Suite experience

·        MS Office PowerPoint experience

·        SharePoint experience

·        BA/BS Degree in Communications, Business or Technology

·        Must be a U.S. Citizen

·        Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

·        Must be able to successfully obtain an appropriate Government clearance
