What will you do? 

A day in the life of a Manager, Construction at VF looks a little like this. 

This strategic and tactical role combines leadership in program and project management with hands-on construction oversight to support consumer-led retail initiatives for Vans, The North Face, Timberland and other VF - owned brands. You will be responsible for driving end-to-end retail development—ensuring that design, construction, and execution align with brand strategy, global creative direction, and financial objectives.

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of simultaneous retail design and construction projects, ensuring alignment with brand and business strategies.

  • Develop and manage project tools (e.g., schedules, budgets, timelines, resource forecasts) to track progress, deliverables, and workload.

  • Partner cross-functionally and manage internal/external stakeholders (vendors, contractors, architects, brand teams) to deliver projects on time, on budget, and within scope.

  • Drive cost efficiencies through value engineering, competitive bidding, and continuous improvement of processes and operational tools.

  • Drive design development for longer-lead projects such as flagship locations.

  • Lead high-level internal and external communications throughout the project lifecycle.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 5 years managing multiple, concurrent retail or commercial construction projects.

  • Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and make independent decisions.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Programs, Smartsheet, Adobe Suite of Programs, CPM toolkits such as Procore, Bluebeam, Multivista, etc.

  • Experience with architectural and construction drawings, materials, and processes.

Location: This position is fully remote, and will travel approximately 50% of the time 

  • Ability to travel sometimes on short notice

  • Willingness to work extended hours as needed

  • Ability to lift and move items up to 25 lbs

Hiring Range:

$84,000.00 USD - $105,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
