  • At least 2 years of experience as Engineering Manager and 4 years hands-on experience as a Software Engineer responsible for designing and implementing systems.
  • Line manager experience: leading and mentoring at least four individuals.
  • Experience working in fast-paced Agile/Scrum projects.
  • Experience with performance management and salary reviews.

DigitalTolk is an organization and company that works to make an impact. Our purpose is to give a voice to those who don’t speak the local language; we arrange translators so that patients can get medical treatments in their new country and communicate with doctors. We arrange translators for crime victims so that they can get justice. Our job is to arrange interpreters through our platform for our customers.

Our end customers are hospitals, courts/lawyers, and municipalities who communicate with refugees and other people in need.

Role:

  • Establish and improve ways of working for your team.

  • Build, lead and grow our Engineers.

  • Provide smooth onboarding experience for new joiners including training.

  • Work together with the teams Product Owner / Accountable Lead to ensure your team delivers high quality at a high pace.

  • Proactively identify issues and work on resolving them.

  • Create a fun and amazing workplace for our international Engineering team.

Experience :

  • At least 2 years’ experience as Engineering Manager, and 4 years hands-on experience as Software Engineer, responsible for designing and implementing systems.

  • Line Manager of at least four or more individuals, guiding, coaching and being a mentor.

  • Worked in the fast paced Agile/Scrum (methodology) projects.

  • Experience with performance management & salary review.

  • Self-driven & high energy with a passion to nurture high-performing teams.
