In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of daily and monthly processes within their data warehouses and financial reporting systems. You will work hands-on with database maintenance, performance optimization, process workflows, and system monitoring—making sure their end-of-day (EOD) and end-of-month (EOM) activities run reliably and efficiently.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Ensure successful execution of daily and monthly process launches within data warehouses and financial reporting systems
  • Manage and maintain the underlying databases supporting our financial reporting solution, including performance optimization of SQL queries.
  • Design and implement effective database archiving strategies to ensure scalability and long‑term data integrity.
  • Improve monitoring capabilities for EOD/EOM run processes
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues occurring during EOD/EOM cycles
  • Collaborate closely with group finance, business analysts, data engineering teams, and operations to ensure process continuity and system integrity

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • Experience working with SQL databases (query optimization, performance tuning, schema management)
  • Solid understanding of data processing workflows (preferably financial or enterprise environments)
  • Ability to plan and coordinate software releases
  • Experience with troubleshooting complex system issues
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level

About the role:

  • Project/Client: Banking/Technology
  • Location: Remote (Baltic States)
  • Language: English
  • Engagement: Full-time
  • B2B contract. Hourly rate: 30-35 EUR.

Recruitment process:

  • CV Screening: Applications are reviewed within 24 hours.
  • Pre-Screening Interview: A brief Q/A session (Automated or with a Recruiter) designed to learn more about your experience related to the required job position.
    1. Automated Session (Recommended) – You can complete this session on your own at a time that is convenient for you. The questions and follow-ups are well-structured and designed to highlight your experience and provide detailed insights into your background. This option is recommended because it's usually more detailed and allows us to provide feedback from the hiring manager faster.
    2. Session with a Recruiter – You can also have the session with a recruiter. The questions are the same, but the discussion may be a bit less detailed, and feedback might take a little longer.
  • Shortlisting: Qualified candidates are presented to the hiring manager for review.
  • Formal Interviews: On-site discussions with the hiring manager or project team, with feedback provided within 1-2 weeks.
  • Offer and Onboarding: Successful candidates receive a formal offer and begin a structured onboarding process.
