Qualifications

Broad information security audit experience beyond SOX/ITGC, preferably serving financial services clients (banks and credit unions).
Knowledge of information security policies, controls, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience drafting final audit reports and presenting findings to clients.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple audits, and travel occasionally to client sites.

Responsibilities

Follow well-defined and highly repeatable audit processes to execute information security and compliance audits.
Manage and complete information security audits (policies, procedures, controls, industry best practices) and prepare draft and final client reports.
Communicate and collaborate with team members on security assessments (social engineering, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments) and assist in engagements from kickoff to report delivery and follow-up.
Maintain knowledge of information cybersecurity topics, trends, and standards, and travel occasionally to client sites for onsite testing and auditing.

Your Mission

As an IT Auditor with SBS CyberSecurity, you will evaluate organizations, primarily in the financial services industry, including community banks and credit unions. These evaluations provide invaluable insight that will enable these organizations to make more informed cybersecurity decisions, meet regulatory requirements, and understand and implement cybersecurity best practices. What You’ll Do

In this role you will:

Follow well-defined and highly repeatable audit processes
Manage and complete information securityaudits encompassing policy and procedure, information securitycontrols, industry best practices, as well as preparing draft and final reports for clients
Manage and complete compliance audits to evaluate policies, procedures and implemented controls
Communicate and collaborate with other team members regarding security assessments such as social engineering, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment
Aid in the entire engagement process, from initial customer kickoff to report delivery and follow-up
Maintain knowledge of information cybersecurity topics, trends, and standards
Occasionally travel to client sites to perform onsite testing and auditing
Assist in the development of new processes / procedures to improve the audits and assessments
