Job description

Veeva Systems is a mission-driven organization and pioneer in industry cloud, helping life sciences companies bring therapies to patients faster. As one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in history, we surpassed $3B in revenue in our last fiscal year with extensive growth potential ahead.

At the heart of Veeva are our values: Do the Right Thing, Customer Success, Employee Success, and Speed. We're not just any public company – we made history in 2021 by becoming a public benefit corporation (PBC), legally bound to balancing the interests of customers, employees, society, and investors.

As a Work Anywhere company, we support your flexibility to work from home or in the office, so you can thrive in your ideal environment.

Join us in transforming the life sciences industry, committed to making a positive impact on its customers, employees, and communities.

The Role

Are you ready to be the architect of digital transformation for the world's leading life sciences companies? As a Migration Consultant within our dynamic EU Professional Services group, you will lead critical migration solutions for our clients in the Life Sciences industry. You will be instrumental in deploying Veeva Development and Quality Cloud solutions, helping pharmaceutical development companies transition to the next generation of digital excellence.

This is more than a consulting role, it's a chance to own the migration journey. You will serve as the primary subject matter expert, leveraging your deep knowledge of Vault API, migration tools, and platform best practices to ensure a seamless and successful transition. You will be a vital customer advocate, partnering across internal teams (Product, Sales, Strategy) to shape future solutions and drive continuous success.

This is a remote position within the EU/UK. We encourage qualified, EU/UK-based candidates to apply. Ability to travel up to 20% is required for client engagement (proximity to an airport is helpful).

Veeva Systems does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status for this employment position.

What You'll Do
  • Lead with expertise in Vault R&D migrations — guiding the seamless transfer of document content and object data from legacy systems into Vault
  • Advise and partner with customers throughout the extract, transform, and load (ETL) process to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
  • Contribute to the growth of the team by sharing best practices, lessons learned, and proven methodologies
  • Drive innovation in migration tooling and process design, providing direction on ETL tool enhancements and implementation strategy
  • Support delivery excellence by assisting in project scoping and estimating for the Vault R&D product suite to ensure accurate planning and smooth execution

  • Requirements
  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience in large-scale document/content migration (ECM systems like Documentum, OpenText, SharePoint, etc.) OR 5+ years of enterprise database migration (ERP/CRM systems like SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, etc.)
  • 3+ years of success in a customer-facing technical consulting role, clearly demonstrating a 'work ethic' and commitment to client outcomes
  • Proven ability to advise and communicate technical strategy to all levels, from technical teams to senior management and executives
  • Hands-on experience leading and mentoring team members, fostering a 'team first' environment
  • Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON, and XML for data manipulation and integration
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% for client meetings and project needs

  • Nice to Have
  • Direct experience in the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry
  • Functional knowledge of Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, or Safety business processes
  • Previous Project Management exposure for complex enterprise software implementations
  • Familiarity with GxP and software validation regulations
  • Deep understanding of the migration verification and reconciliation process
  • Coding experience, particularly with Java or Python

  • Perks & Benefits
