Job Description – Python Automation Engineer
Experience: 7+ Years 
Location: Remote 
Timings:  5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST 
Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Only

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Python Automation Engineer with strong expertise in document processing, SharePoint integrations, OCR workflows, and AI-assisted data extraction.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with large volumes of semi-structured and unstructured documents, building scalable automation pipelines, and extracting accurate structured data from PDFs and scanned documents. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build Python-based automation workflows to process historical loan and application documents. 
  • Integrate with SharePoint using Microsoft Graph API. 
  • Traverse structured SharePoint folder hierarchies to identify and process relevant loan/application files. 
  • Extract borrower and broker contact information, including: 
  • Name 
  • Email Address 
  • Phone Number 
  • Additional relevant metadata 
  • Process both: 
  • Text-based PDFs 
  • Scanned PDFs requiring OCR 
  • Implement AI/LLM-assisted structured data extraction workflows where applicable. 
  • Generate clean and structured CSV outputs for CRM enrichment and downstream processing. 
  • Handle multiple document versions and inconsistent folder structures efficiently. 
  • Build scalable batch-processing and workflow automation pipelines. 
  • Ensure high extraction accuracy, data consistency, and validation across large document volumes. 
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing extraction and automation workflows. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of strong Python development experience. 
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint integrations and Microsoft Graph API. 
  • Experience working with PDF text extraction libraries and document parsing tools. 
  • Strong experience with OCR frameworks for scanned document processing. 
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM-assisted data extraction workflows. 
  • Experience designing and building batch-processing automation pipelines. 
  • Ability to work with semi-structured and unstructured document formats. 
  • Strong debugging, data validation, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Experience handling large-scale document processing workflows. 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with loan processing, mortgage, banking, or financial documents.
