Job description

Bullhorn's core purpose is to create an incredible customer experience, and the organization has a sharp focus on delivering very high quality products and services to its customers. The company culture is shaped by five Core Values: Ownership, Energy, Speed & Agility, Service, and Being Human. Each value, and its underlying definition, serves as a behavioral guide for employees as they interact with customers and fellow coworkers and is an embedded way of operating across our organization.

Bullhorn is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where hard work and outstanding results are rewarded and celebrated. We value those that exhibit an eagerness to learn and a strong natural desire for continuous improvement and we encourage team members to stretch themselves, acknowledge challenges and learn from them. With a strong focus on growth, we provide ample opportunities for career development and prioritize promoting from within. We believe that leaders should care deeply about the development of their employees at all levels, emphasizing emotional intelligence and accountability. Our leaders collaborate closely to ensure the success of their teams, and we work together to achieve shared goals, creating a challenging and rewarding workplace for everyone.

About the role

As the Product Manager of AI, you will be responsible for defining and driving the product roadmap, development and continual launching of Bullhorn’s AI-powered products and capabilities, with a focus on transforming how staffing and recruiting firms operate in an AI-first world. The AI Product Manager will be a curious, structured thinker with a proven track record of tackling complex, ambiguous problems by breaking them down and delivering products incrementally. They bring hands-on experience with AI technologies and a genuine appetite for operating in a space where the technology, customer expectations, and competitive landscape are all evolving rapidly.

As an AI Product Manager, a typical day might include...

  • Understanding, articulating, and translating staffing and recruiting workflow challenges into AI-powered product opportunities, identifying where automation, orchestration, and AI-driven decision support can deliver measurable customer value.

  • Developing, publishing, and maintaining a living roadmap for AI products and capabilities. Continuously prioritizing and re-prioritizing based on customer input, market needs, stakeholder feedback, product performance, and the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

  • Identifying opportunities where AI can automate high-volume work, improve recruiter productivity, reduce operational friction, and drive measurable business outcomes for staffing firms.

  • Partnering closely with customers to understand how recruiters, sales teams, operations teams, and managers actually work, then translating those insights into products that fit real-world staffing workflows and operational constraints.

  • Partnering with Product Owners, Architects, Data Scientists, UX Designers, and Developers to drive AI product development. Defining milestones, success metrics, and customer outcomes before work begins.

  • Driving rapid iteration cycles for AI-powered products, validating assumptions quickly, learning from customer behavior and usage patterns, and continuously improving products based on real-world feedback and results.

  • Leading cross-functional launch activities, ensuring Marketing, Sales, Support, and Professional Services are prepared and aligned. Identifying dependencies across teams and proactively resolving blockers before they become delays.

  • Partnering with Product Marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, messaging, and positioning for AI capabilities, translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling customer value.

  • Continuously monitoring product health indicators including adoption, customer engagement, workflow impact, support metrics, customer feedback, and AI performance indicators. Synthesizing these inputs to drive ongoing roadmap decisions and product investments.

  • Staying current on emerging AI capabilities, tooling, and product patterns, continuously evaluating how advances in AI can create competitive advantage and operational transformation for Bullhorn customers.

As an AI Product Manager, you'll bring...

  • 3+ years of experience in a Product Management role with an enterprise B2B SaaS product company. Experience in staffing or recruiting is strongly preferred.

  • Strong interest in AI-powered workflow transformation, automation, and operational systems, with a practical mindset for how AI can improve the way people work.

  • Hands-on familiarity with modern AI technologies and workflows, including large language models, prompting strategies, AI-assisted workflows, and human-in-the-loop systems. Given the pace of change in AI, we are not looking for a long history of experience, but rather individuals who rapidly adopt new technologies, experiment continuously, and quickly translate emerging capabilities into practical product opportunities.

  • Technical background or demonstrated experience working on technically complex software products. Sufficient depth to engage engineers credibly, understand constraints, and surface creative solutions.

  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and a willingness to define new patterns in areas where the product playbook is still being written. Thrives in environments where experimentation, iteration speed, and learning matter.

  • Customer-focused attitude. Experience conducting regular customer conversations for discovery, validation, and feedback, then translating qualitative insight into clear, prioritized product requirements.

  • Experience working closely with engineering, UX, architecture, data science, and go-to-market teams in a highly collaborative fashion.

  • Disciplined approach to execution and follow through. Defines milestones, success criteria, and measurable outcomes before work begins.

  • Strong product judgment and bias toward action. Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and adjusting quickly as new information emerges.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment, handling multiple priorities simultaneously and meeting goals and deadlines.

  • Superior problem solving and project management skills, including the ability to balance resources and rapidly evaluate and address risk.

  • Experience in the staffing and recruiting industry is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, and presentation, with the ability to translate complex AI capabilities and trade-offs into clear, accessible language for executives, customers, and cross-functional partners.
