Role Summary
Sophos is looking for a seasoned events professional to own our global event strategy from flagship tradeshows to internal sales summits to the systems that help regional teams show up consistently everywhere in between. You will set the standard for how Sophos presents itself to customers, partners, prospects, and the broader security community, ensuring every experience is on-brand, operationally tight, and worth remembering. AI fluency is a baseline expectation of this role.
What You Will Do
Global Events and Tradeshows
Lead end-to-end execution for Black Hat, RSA, Gartner, it-sa, and other major shows working alongside field marketing in regions
Own booth strategy, messaging hierarchy, and brand environment
Coordinate across design, product marketing, and field sales
Internal and Partner Events (e.g., SKO, President’s Club, etc)
Drive planning and execution for Sales Kickoff, President's Club, launch events, and more
Align branding, messaging, content production, and logistics
Manage global and regional formats including hybrid delivery
Regional Scale-out via Event Activation Kits
Build a tiered library of pre-defined event kits for regional and field teams
Define booth aesthetics, activations, swag, and messaging by event type and scale
Ensure regional teams can execute consistently without starting from scratch
Brand & Creative Standards and Systems
Define and govern event brand standards globally
Oversee swag strategy, vendor relationships, and production timelines
Drive global consistency of Sophos branded promotional items and attire
Partner with Design to evolve booth creative year over year
Speaker Activation via Speaker Bureau Partnership
Partner with Public Relations on speaker bureau activation at events
PR owns bureau member identification and training; this role owns event-level preparation and on-site execution
Align speaker opportunities to event strategy and Sophos messaging priorities
Cross-Functional Stakeholder Alignment
Serve as the central coordination point across field sales, channel, product marketing, PR, and design
Build event calendars, reporting frameworks, and post-event measurement practices
Identify and curate corporate promotional sponsorship opportunities to elevate the Sophos brand
Manage budgets across a portfolio of global events
What You Will Bring
Required
6+ years in B2B event management, with at least 2 in a global or multi-regional scope
Experience owning major tradeshow presence: booth strategy, build, logistics, and activation
Track record running large-scale internal events: SKO, sales rallies, or partner summits
Demonstrated ability to build scalable systems and toolkits, not just execute individual events
Strong vendor and agency management skills
Proficiency using AI tools for planning, content development, and operational efficiency; this is a standard expectation of the role
Sharp communicator comfortable with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners
Preferred
Background in cybersecurity or enterprise technology
Experience with channel or partner-facing event formats
Familiarity coordinating with PR or communications teams on speaker programs
Exposure to webinar or virtual event production at scale
Comfortable working across time zones with globally distributed teams
Experience applying AI tools to event personalization, attendee engagement, or logistics workflows
In the United States, the base salary for this role ranges from $126,000 to $210,000. In Canada, the base salary for this role ranges from $120,000 to $200,000 In addition to base salary, we offer additional compensation including bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package. A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
