Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Lean Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification (IASSC) required.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and measuring Lean/Six Sigma improvements in manufacturing and/or logistics environments.

Requirements:

  • Provide overall direction, implementation, and continuous improvement of lean systems infrastructure in all phases of logistics and warehousing.
  • Analyze designs, methods, and internal manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency.
  • Develop strategies and initiatives for operational efficiency and implement Lean and Six Sigma methods; measure benefits after changes are implemented.
  • Regularly review lean performance with leadership teams, set expectations, provide performance planning and feedback, and direct the work of US1 Continuous Improvement Leads.

A Brief Overview

The US1 Continuous Improvement Manager provides overall direction, implementation, and continuous improvement of lean systems infrastructure in all phases of logistics and warehousing.

What you will do
  • Analyze designs, methods, and internal manufacturing processes.
  • Develop strategies and initiatives for operational efficiency.
  • Implement process improvements and changes in manufacturing methods.
  • Measure process improvement benefits after changes are implemented.
  • Implement Lean and/or Six Sigma methods.
  • Regularly review lean performance expectations with leadership teams across the organization, providing expectations, performance planning, and feedback.
  • Direct the work of US1 Continuous Improvement Leads.

Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Lean Manufacturing, or related field required.
