Roles & Responsibilities

  • Experience with Florida transactions
  • Ability to examine multi-parcel transactions (2+ properties or more) and complete products involving complex litigation (Bankruptcy/ Probate/ Foreclosure)
  • Experience working directly with Underwriting on large transactions (1 million +)
  • Able to prepare a Pro Forma Policy

Requirements:

  • Review agent orders and instructions to prepare and deliver title products, including commitment packages, TSRs (Title Search Reports), Ownership/Encumbrance Reports, Foreclosure reports, and revisions/updates.
  • Perform title searches using ResWare, RamQuest, other title search software as well as county websites; conduct grantor/grantee searches; verify property tax records.
  • Collect and analyze publicly recorded documents affecting title to establish a complete chain of title; search county docket systems to identify unrecorded or pending litigation; ensure foreclosure actions are properly served involved parties.
  • Provide survey reads and support legal/property analysis; assist with drafting agent objection letters; interpret and draft metes and bounds legal descriptions.

EASTERN TITLE DIVISION

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Senior Title Examiner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing agent orders and instructions to accurately prepare and deliver title products. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with title search systems, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, timely results.

*Candidates must have experience with Florida transactions for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review agent orders and instructions to prepare and deliver:
    • Commitment packages
    • TSRs (Title Search Reports)
    • Ownership & Encumbrance Reports
    • Foreclosure reports
    • Revisions and updates
  • Perform title searches using:
    • ResWare, RamQuest, other title search software as well as county websites
    • Conduct grantor/grantee searches
    • Verify property tax records
  • Collect and analyze publicly recorded documents affecting title, including:
    • Establishing a complete and accurate chain of title
  • Search county docket systems to:
    • Identify unrecorded or pending litigation
    • Ensure all foreclosure actions properly served involved parties
  • Provide survey reads and support legal/property analysis
  • Assist with drafting agent objection letters
  • Interpret and draft metes and bounds legal descriptions

Qualifications

  • Able to examine multi-parcel transactions (2 + properties or more)
  • Complete a product containing complex litigation: Bankruptcy/Probate/Foreclosure
  • Mapping experience
  • Has experience working directly with Underwriting on large transactions (1 million +)
  • Able to prepare a Pro Forma Policy
