The Job:
The Group Product Manager for Concrete Products will manage the short- and long-term P&L of the product line, increase the working capital turns of the portfolio, expand the business with new products and lead cross-functional teams through the New Product Development Process.The Concrete Products Gr. Product Manager is responsible for working with and developing their team while collaborating with global colleges to optimize productivity and grow the Global Concrete portfolio. They will be responsible for working with our Commercial and Category Teams to help manage and accelerate the growth of the new POWERSHIFT line of commercial products.  You'll get to:

  • Develops category’s product strategies to meet or exceed the company’s overall strategy and goals.
  • Identifies the necessary projects to execute the strategy for product lines within their responsibility. 
  • Responsible for partnering with the international teams to identify high impact opportunities to drive growth globally. 
  • Responsible for partnering with the international and external teams to identify high impact opportunities to drive POWERSHIFT Product Line growth globally. 
  • Understand market trends to ensure product strategy aligns with the needs of the customer; Develop and execute product roadmap. 
  • Develop and deliver operating plan for assigned portfolio, Track, forecast, and present new product financial performance monthly.   
  • Lead development of product roadmaps based on product strategies, NPD program financials, and channel strategies.  Work with Engineering and Supply Chain (Operations) to ensure the roadmap can be executed based on resources and capacity. 
  • Conduct regular VOC visits to have a deep understanding of target market segments, end user needs, and pain points for the product portfolio. 
  • Responsible for NPD programs from ideation to commercialization. Team leader to ensure delivery of winning new products through end-user focused market requirements, aligned business case with channel/region teams, design trade-off management, succinct end user messaging, and price positioning for optimal profitability. 
  • Validation of Product CTQs, Testing & Claims with End Users 
  • Responsible to effectively communicating to external audiences the product differentiation, product positioning, and value proposition to win or retain business. 
  • Identify and execute plans to deliver productivity in the category to ensure we remain competitive in the marketplace without sacrificing customer valued product features. 
  • Ensures processes are followed to successfully develop new products and deliver on time to commitment dates.  
  • Develops brand and product positioning strategy by product line, including target financial profitability objectives. 
  • Manages, develops, and mentors a team of Product Managers to achieve the business goals.

  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic 
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams 
  • Experience working in a matrix environment 
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Domestic/International travel required (15%) 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Consumer products experience  
  • Experience working directly with retailers or other large customers   
  • Experience working for a large global company  
  • Experience working in a matrixed reporting structure 
  • Experience conducting primary consumer research

The Salary range for this position is $95,600.00 - $153,900.00
