We are hiring an Associate Bio‑Stat Research Analyst to join the Health Plan and Quality Improvement Solutions team at BCBST!
In this role, you will function as an analyst supporting a wide range of internal business partners by producing recurring and ad‑hoc reporting across clinical, operational, and financial domains. The team works with diverse data sources and audiences, including operational finance, utilization management, care advance case management, and BlueCare, with a strong focus on cost, utilization, and performance analytics using claims and authorization data.

Job Responsibilities
- Analyzing and processing data, building and maintaining models and report templates, and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions.
- Supporting Consultants on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools.
- Identifying appropriate performance measures to be produced including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.
- Under supervision, providing business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from, data processing, and data analysis.
Job Qualifications
Education
- Undergraduate bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 2 years working experience is required, OR Master's Degree or Ph.D. with no experience is acceptable.
Skills\Certifications
- Competent to convert research protocol to programming specification logically and meaningfully
- Attention to detail, exceptional documentation abilities, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently under general supervision and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to participate in project design and interpretation with Research Staff
- Must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical co-workers
