Job Description:

Identifies and develops appropriate solutions for various reporting needs with the Cogito project manager and business intelligence developers (BIDs). Reviews and approves existing Reporting Workbench templates and creates additional templates as needed. Identifies the needs of report consumers with reporting subject matter experts. Designs specifications for custom report requests with subject matter experts and business intelligence developers. Designs, implements, and maintains an enterprise-wide Reporting Workbench and Radar security policy. Maintains the Cogito Catalog and associated metadata records. Sets up in-scope Slicer Dicer data models and designs custom filters with BIDs per end user request. Assists the principal trainer in developing training curriculum and training power reporting users. Facilitates report content design and establishes report scope and prioritization. Translates end-user workflow-based report requests to specific data points required for report development. Builds Radar dashboards and Reporting Workbench reports, templates, and extracts for the application. Works in partnership with the Data Warehouse team and other stakeholders concerning the accuracy of data and efficiency of processes. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Familiarity with Epic reporting tools [Required]
• Familiarity with the foundation system reports available for the applications they are working with [Required]
• Script in SQL/PL SQL SELECT [Required]
• Proficiency with query performance tuning [Required]
• Experience in development, testing and implementation of reports and dashboards [Required]
• Familiarity with “big data” and analytics [Required]
• Good knowledge of coding/development standards and best practices [Required]
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. [Preferred]
• Knowledge of business analysis and requirements elicitation process. [Preferred]
• Knowledge of application development process, testing, and quality assurance. [Preferred]

Education:
• Associate in information systems, healthcare informatics or similar fields [Preferred]

Field of Study:
• Degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics or similar fields

Work Experience:
• 1+ in healthcare it [Preferred]
• 3+ development, testing and implementation of reports and dashboards [Required]
• 4+ development, testing and implementation of reports and dashboards [Preferred]

• Epic Cogito Curriculum (EPIC COGC) [Preferred] OR

Pay Range:

$72,786.83 - $135,385.27
