Job description

VirtueStaff is seeking a dependable and organized Dispatcher to coordinate and manage the efficient scheduling and dispatching of service personnel. In this role, you will serve as the critical link between the field teams and customers, ensuring that jobs are assigned effectively and completed on time. You will be responsible for monitoring job progress, managing communication between teams, and optimizing routing to enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and prioritize incoming service requests and dispatch field personnel accordingly
  • Monitor and track the status of jobs throughout the workday to ensure timely completion
  • Communicate with technicians and customers to provide updates and resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Use routing software and other tools to optimize technician schedules and travel times
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and job statuses in the relevant systems
  • Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to improve dispatch processes and customer satisfaction
