  • Serve as an ERP steward by executing advanced SQL queries across enterprise systems to extract mission-critical data.

Position at VIPRE Security Group

The Opportunity:
Join an energetic team in one of the hottest growing sectors in software— cybersecurity. The Senior Financial Analyst  will be part of the FP&A team reporting to the B2C Finance Director. You will be responsible for conducting complex financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive strategic business growth. You will partner with cross-functional leadership (Sales, Ops, Marketing) to provide actionable insights, oversee the annual budgeting process, and leverage advanced data tools to improve financial predictability.  The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the business growth looking after the B2C Business Unit products (IPVanish, StrongVPN, LiveDrive, etc.). This role is fully remote in Mexico and your stakeholders are in both the USA and EU.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning & Forecasting
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated rolling forecasts to ensure financial visibility
  • Lead the annual bottom-up budgeting process, ensuring robust alignment with corporate long-term strategic goals#Create "what-if" models and advanced scenarios to evaluate market volatility, new product launches, or potential M&A activity
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting
  • Execute rigorous variance reporting by analyzing monthly actuals against budget and forecast to pinpoint key performance drivers
  • Establish and monitor critical business health KPIs, including CAC, LTV, Churn Rate, and EBITDA margins, to ensure operational excellence
  • Collaborate with department leadership to drive cost optimization by identifying structural inefficiencies and recommending strategic savings
  • Data & Technology Integration
  • Leverage AI-driven methodologies for predictive trend analysis and streamline recurring reporting workflows via advanced Excel automation
  • Architect and manage dynamic dashboards to translate complex datasets into accessible insights for cross-functional partners
  • Serve as an ERP steward by executing advanced SQL queries across enterprise systems to extract mission-critical data
Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA or professional certification (CFA/CPA) is highly desirable.
  • 4+ years of progressive, hands-on experience within a corporate FP&A environment.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel (including VBA and Power Query) with a proven track record of applying financial modeling best practices.
  • Strong command of modern data stacks, for predictive financial data science.
  • Professional & Soft Skills
    • Exceptional data storytelling abilities, with the skill to synthesize complex datasets into compelling narratives for executive-level stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated capacity for strategic partnership, serving as a proactive internal consultant to cross-functional departments.

Compensation Range
Please be sure to review the US pay transparency guidance document here and include the below for any locations where a salary range is required.
Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The salary compensation for this role is 650,000 to 720,000 MXN. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.
