Job Overview

Part-time (30h/week) or full-time possible

Job Requirements

  • Accountable for forecast accuracy at part number and location level for assigned product lines
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance and Product Management to develop a consensus demand forecast
  • Contribute to the S&OP process to align and publish monthly demand planning numbers
  • Continuous monitoring of planned figures, preparation of variance analyses, and oversight of forecast accuracy
  • Maintain and adjust regional forecasts based on market trends and cross-functional input
  • Support MRP group management, including safety stock adjustments aligned with demand trends
  • Interface closely with Supply Chain, Master Scheduling, and Planning teams on demand-related topics
  • Assist in preparing demand insights for management meetings 
  • Provide data and analytical support for projects (e.g., product launches, transitions, optimization initiatives) 

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics or a related field (APICS certification is a plus)
  • First experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting or Supply Chain  
  • Basic understanding of MRP and S&OP processes preferred
  • Understanding of demand management, production scheduling, and supply chain concepts
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential; Experience with Power BI or comparable tools is a plus
  • Initial experience with forecasting and analytical tools (e.g., SAP, IBP, Tableau, Salesforce) is a plus
  • Solid understanding of statistical models and data-driven analysis
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English; German is a plus
  • Ability to work in an international environment
