Position Summary

The Sr. Full Stack Developer is a key contributor to the development of our highly flexible, web services SAAS platform. This role is a product development role responsible for advancing Datascan’s core product through new capabilities that customers will love. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to the overall technical direction of the organization. It is important to be able to deliver quality solutions in a timely fashion. As a senior member of the technology team, this role requires thought leadership and the ability to handle complex technical assignments. This role not only includes new application development but maintaining and supporting existing applications. 

Duties and Responsibilities

•  Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex and scalable web applications. 
• Provide technical direction and guidance to junior developers.  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. 
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define and refine project requirements. 
• Work closely with technical leads and architects to develop new and existing solutions of varying degrees of complexity. 
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. 
• Develop and implement automated tests to ensure code quality and functionality. 
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance. 
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. 
• Drive continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies. 
• Assist junior members of team as needed. 
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical leadership with the development team. 
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and guide the team in adopting new tools and frameworks.
