Job description

Overview:

What’s The Role

This is a client‑facing role responsible for delivering first‑ and second‑level technical support to internal and external customers. The successful candidate will report directly to their assigned supervisor and play a key role in maintaining high service standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, effective problem‑solving abilities, and a customer‑centric approach to service delivery. This role requires flexibility, as the engineer will participate in an on‑call rotation and work scheduled rotational shifts to support operational requirements.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

Deliver high-quality technical support to clients.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Manage and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and BitLocker deployments.
Install, configure, and support PCs, laptops, printers, and MFP devices.
Administer Active Directory, Group Policies, and Veeam Backup.
Monitor and maintain anti-virus solutions and remote desktop environments (Citrix/MS RDS).
Provide end-user support in a professional and timely manner.
Assist in IT project delivery and documentation.

Qualifications:

Knowledge & Experience

BSC in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent.
Strong technical documentation abilities.
Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT firm or Value-Added Reseller (VAR).
Microsoft 365 certification and hands-on experience with Office 365/Azure/Intune.
Proficiency in Windows 10 or higher, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.
Experience with Veeam Backup, antivirus solutions, and BitLocker encryption.
Strong troubleshooting skills for HP, Dell, and Lenovo hardware.
Knowledge of printer/MFP support and remote desktop environments (Citrix/MS RDS).
Excellent client-facing communication and project delivery skills.
