Job Description:

The Clinical Resource Manager is responsible for working with Service Lines as well as all of Supply Chain Category Management to provide support and validation regarding decision making related to supplies, equipment and services being considered by the organization.

Working in close partnership with Category Management, the Clinical Resource Manager supports the Category Managers by driving savings and value creation through cost optimization, product, equipment and services utilization, and rationalization aligned with best-in-class clinical practices. The Clinical Resource Manager will support the clinical value analysis program, facilitate clinical integration, and lead the clinical product, equipment, and services evaluation process. This role requires strong research skills, data analysis capabilities, opportunity identification skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both supply chain and clinical leadership. Essential Functions

  • Provide support and guidance to the Category Management team related to variation of supplies, procedural analytics, market trends, data utilization and rationalization.
  • Gather data and information needed for presentation for the Value Analysis meetings.
  • Facilitate VAT meetings as deemed necessary.
  • Lead in the management of evaluating new technologies, quality control processes, define, and communicate standards.  
  • Provide training and process improvement for various workflows.
  • Assist with interpretation of data and make recommendations.
  • Interaction with clinical teams at the care sites and system clinical teams in conjunction with Category Managers.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and value creation through optimal product utilization and rationalization.
  • Ensure alignment of supply chain strategies with best clinical practices to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives to drive cost optimization without compromising clinical outcomes.
  • Actively support the clinical value analysis program to evaluate and select products based on clinical efficacy and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the value analysis team to ensure the correct data is used in evidence-based decision-making and standardized practices across the enterprise.
  • Foster strong collaboration between clinical teams and supply chain to integrate clinical insights into supply chain strategies.
  • Work closely with clinicians and care teams to understand their needs and ensure the availability of high-quality, cost-effective products.
  • Must be able to utilize data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in product, equipment and services utilization and cost management.
  • Use data-driven insights to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborates with the clinical resource managers and category managers to provide clinical insights and support the development and execution of category strategies.
  • Ensure that category management efforts are aligned with clinical goals and objectives.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on initiatives, outcomes, and emerging opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required in healthcare, supply chain, other business related field or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in an analysis role or market research role.
  • Strong verbal/written communication with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; Excellent interpersonal, organizational, project management and communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data set and identify actional insights.
  • Results oriented
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong clinical background with a deep knowledge of healthcare practices and product unitization..
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA/MSN Preferred.
  • RN licensure required and a minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
  • Proven Leadership skills with a strong track record of driving cross functional initiatives
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in process improvement and implementing best practices in a clinical and supply chain context.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$50.97 - $78.69
