Summary:

In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and customer champion for high-end senior living clients by delivering exceptional value, personalized support, and strategic sourcing solutions. You will leverage hospitality, food service, and group purchasing organization (GPO) experience to build strong client relationships, identify operational opportunities, and drive program adoption within luxury senior living environments. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal partners to enhance the client experience, support retention and growth, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of high-end senior living clients with a focus on relationship development, retention, and revenue growth.

  • Build trusted partnerships with executive leaders and operational stakeholders within luxury senior living communities.

  • Advocate for clients by identifying operational challenges and delivering tailored sourcing, hospitality, and food service solutions.

  • Conduct strategic business reviews to assess performance, align on goals, and uncover opportunities for increased engagement and value realization.

  • Collaborate with supplier and distribution partners to support hospitality-focused operational excellence and cost-saving initiatives.

  • Facilitate onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support activities to ensure a seamless and high-touch client experience.

  • Promote adoption of GPO programs, contracts, and value-added services that align with the unique needs of senior living clients.

  • Maintain accurate account activity, pipeline updates, and revenue forecasting within Salesforce.com.

  • Partner with internal sourcing and sales teams to develop strategies that strengthen client loyalty and expand account growth opportunities.

  • Support new business development efforts targeting high-end senior living and hospitality-focused organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience working with group purchasing organizations (GPOs), hospitality, or food service environments preferred.

  • Prior experience supporting or selling into high-end senior living communities required.

  • Proven ability to serve as a strong customer champion through relationship management, consultative selling, and solution-based support.

  • Strong understanding of hospitality and food service operations within senior living environments preferred.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage executive stakeholders and articulate strategic value.

  • Ability to build trusted relationships and deliver a high-touch client experience within luxury service environments.

  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.
