The AI-Human Content Integrator works as part of the Content Team and reports directly to the SEO Manager. They are responsible for maintaining editorial quality across all assigned deliverables by reviewing, editing, and quality‑checking both AI‑generated and human‑written content for clarity, accuracy, brand voice, optimization, and compliance. The AI-Human Content Integrator ensures each piece is humanized, aligned with SEO and answer‑engine best practices, meets internal guidelines, and is ready for client or public release.

This role is not a generic “content writer.” We are looking for someone who can take AI-generated drafts for:

  • blog posts

  • service pages

  • brand pages

  • city pages / local pages

…and turn them into content that feels:

  • locally relevant

  • SEO-usable

  • factually safe

  • readable for real customers

  • not robotic

  • not duplicate across locations

Specifically, the AI-Human Content Integrator is responsible for the following:

  • Edit and proofread a variety of content types (blogs, website pages, landing pages, social posts, email campaigns, and ad copy) to ensure clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and a consistent brand voice.

  • Humanize and refine AI‑generated drafts, improving tone, flow, and natural language while preserving the original intent and messaging.

  • Apply the appropriate level of editing (light vs. heavy) based on the brief; preserve the writer’s or strategist’s intent while improving readability, structure, and engagement.

  • Implement on‑page SEO best practices (e.g., headings, keyword placement and balance, internal links, anchor text, and metadata inputs when applicable) and injecting local E.E.A.T. while keeping copy natural and reader‑first.

  • Structure content to support answer‑engine optimization (AEO), including clear definitions, concise answers, FAQ blocks, and formats that support featured snippets, AI overviews, and voice search.

  • Run a consistent editorial QA workflow, including version control, tracked changes/comments, and clear hand-off notes for writers, strategists, and stakeholders.

  • Fact‑check key claims and verify sources where needed; flag unclear or unsupported statements and request revisions or additional proof.

  • Perform originality and plagiarism checks using approved tools; escalate risks and ensure content meets originality and brand standards before submission.

  • Identify and mitigate AI‑specific risks (e.g., hallucinations, repetition, off‑brand phrasing) and ensure all final outputs meet quality and accuracy expectations.

  • Maintain and improve content standards by developing and updating style guides, AI prompt and template guidelines, and checklists; ensure team‑wide adherence to these guidelines.

  • Coordinate with writers, SEO specialists, designers, and account/client teams to confirm requirements, search intent, deadlines, and revision priorities; communicate feedback clearly and respectfully.

  • Support content production planning by helping maintain an editorial calendar, monitoring throughput, and aligning editing capacity with content and SEO roadmaps to meet agreed timelines and service‑level expectations.

  • Track and report quality and productivity signals (e.g., revision rate, error rate, turnaround time, recurring issues, and SEO/AEO‑related content defects) and recommend process or prompt improvements.

  • Mentor junior editors and writers by providing coaching, examples, and best practices for AI‑assisted drafting, SEO‑aware writing, and consistent editorial quality over time.

  • Ensure content follows legal, policy, and compliance requirements, including copyright rules, licensing/usage rights, and data privacy considerations when applicable.

  • Perform other content‑related tasks as assigned, including occasional first‑draft creation using AI tools under existing briefs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in content editing, proofreading, or editorial QA (digital marketing or agency experience is preferred).
  • Strong command of English grammar, structure, and style; able to edit for clarity and audience intent, not just correctness.
  • Proficiency with editing workflows in Google Docs and/or Microsoft Word (tracked changes, commenting, version control).
  • Experience using quality tools such as Grammarly (or equivalent) and plagiarism/originality checkers; able to apply standards consistently.
  • Basic understanding of on-page SEO editing principles (headings, internal linking, keyword balance, meta fields) while maintaining readability.
  • Comfortable working in or alongside a CMS (e.g., WordPress) and coordinating with designers/marketers for final publishing readiness.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to give actionable feedback and manage revisions efficiently.
  • Highly detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics is a plus; able to use performance insights to inform content improvements.

Benefits

Serving A Mission Greater Than Us

Like many successful companies, we at Advanced Digital Media Services believe in giving back to the community. The organization started when the CEO met her wife, who graduated from the Sisters of Mary School, and if it weren't for her attending the school, they would not have met.

The Sisters of Mary take on a yearly mission to help those in need—traveling far and wide, they seek out the most disadvantaged children and use interviews and testing to determine who would benefit from access to their educational programs. The children reside on campus the entire school year while being provided a high-quality education and vocational courses that will serve as a bridge of opportunity to the children in need. No one at the Sisters of Mary School earns a salary. The work is all done voluntarily by the nuns. That is why we are helping them maintain their selfless act through donations from the company's earnings.
