  • Ensure therapy services and clinical documentation are properly aligned
  • Utilize CMS tools, the RAI Manual, and internal protocols to maintain regulatory compliance

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Review ICD-10 codes to ensure correct clinical category mapping
  • Identify missed reimbursement opportunities across PT/OT, SLP, NTA, Nursing, and Functional Scoring
  • Ensure therapy services and clinical documentation are properly aligned
  • Utilize CMS tools, the RAI Manual, and internal protocols to maintain regulatory compliance
  • Thoroughly scrub assessments prior to submission for completeness and accuracy

Requirements

  • Current and valid PHRN license
  • 6 months work experience in a clinical setting
  • Knowledge with EMR/EHR (Electronic Medical Records/Electronic Healthcare Records)
  • Knowledge with MDS coding is a PLUS
  • Strong knowledge of prehospital patient care protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good Verbal and Written English Communication Skills​
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedule.
