Job description

About Crimson Global Academy

Crimson Global Academy (CGA) is a world-leading online school with students in more than 30 countries and a teaching staff drawn predominantly from New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. Every one of our teachers is a subject expert, and our strong pastoral care network ensures students learn in a safe and inclusive environment.

Students at CGA study at a level that matches their academic competence rather than their age, which means a significant proportion of our cohort is working ahead of their peer group. Combined with curriculum flexibility, cutting-edge technology and the opportunity to accelerate, CGA offers an unusually rich environment for students with the drive to excel. Our academic results speak for themselves.

Transforming the way students learn is central to what we do, and we are rapidly integrating AI to support student learning in meaningful, classroom-ready ways.

Please note: you must hold a New Zealand teaching registration to qualify for this position.

  • Assess student progress, provide timely feedback, and support each learner to reach their potential

  • Stretch high-achieving students and support those working ahead of their peer group

  • Maintain strong communication with students, parents and colleagues

  • Uphold CGA's pastoral standards, contributing to a safe and inclusive learning environment

About you

  • Qualified teacher with current New Zealand teaching registration

  • Subject expert in Physics with secondary teaching experience

  • Understanding of IGCSE and A Level Physics curricula is an advantage

  • A track record of strong academic results and the ability to stretch capable students

  • Confident teaching in an online environment, with strong digital fluency

  • Committed to contributing beyond the classroom

  • Collaborative, growth-minded, and energised by working with motivated students from around the world

What we offer

  • The opportunity to teach at one of the most innovative online schools globally

  • A community of subject-expert colleagues, predominantly across New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom

  • Flexibility to work from anywhere

  • Access to cutting-edge technology that genuinely enhance teaching practice

  • Bright, motivated students from more than 30 countries who study at the level of their academic competence
