Job description

As an Account Executive, you will play a central role in building and strengthening client relationships while delivering a consistent, high-quality service experience. In this role, you will partner with clients, brokers, and internal teams to drive account success, ensure seamless communication, and support strategic growth. Your ability to solve complex problems, communicate effectively, and proactively manage accounts will directly contribute to client satisfaction and long-term business outcomes. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Serve as a primary relationship owner for assigned accounts, ensuring clear, proactive communication and a strong client experience. 
  • Partner with brokers, carriers, and internal teams to support new business placement and renewal strategy execution. 
  • Analyze claims and cost data to develop insights, reports, and recommendations that support client decision-making. 
  • Support implementation of new clients, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and timely completion of key milestones. 
  • Facilitate meetings with clients and stakeholders to align on plan performance, strategy, and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate follow-through. 
  • Assist with plan design updates and collaborate with carriers to support rate negotiations and adjustments. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and internal communication related to client accounts. 
  • Monitor account performance and identify opportunities to enhance service delivery or drive business growth. 
  • Support communications related to plan changes, regulatory updates, and client-specific initiatives. 
  • Travel to client sites as needed to build relationships and support account needs. 

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in account management, client services, or healthcare/insurance-related roles. 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders. 
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present meaningful insights. 
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, healthcare, or related field. 
  • Experience with group health plans, benefits administration, or self-funded insurance models. 
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and regulatory environments. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build long-term client relationships and deliver value-driven solutions. 


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 96,800 - 161,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
