Job description

At Trialbee, we're on a mission to make clinical trials more accessible, inclusive, and efficient — connecting patients to the research that could change their lives. As Patient Recruitment Strategy Lead, you'll be the architect of how Trialbee approaches enrollment — translating patient insights, protocol complexity, and real-world data into strategies that actually work.

This is a role for someone who lives at the intersection of science, strategy, and storytelling — someone who can read a protocol, understand the patient journey behind it, and build a plan that gets trials enrolled on time. You'll work cross-functionally with operations, sales, product, and external partners to design best-in-class recruitment and retention plans for our clients' clinical trials.

What you'll do

  • Develop patient recruitment and retention strategies aligned with client enrollment goals — globally scalable and operationally grounded

  • Lead protocol assessments to identify target populations, eligibility challenges, and competitive landscape

  • Use real-world data and historical performance to build data-driven funnel projections and recruitment plans

  • Map the patient journey and standard-of-care pathways to design strategies that reduce barriers to participation

  • Build multi-channel approaches spanning EHR, digital, social media, community outreach, registries, and recruitment partners

  • Translate strategy into compelling client-ready proposals — clear rationale, channel mix, and projected outcomes

  • Present recommendations to internal stakeholders and support bid-defense preparations

  • Partner with operations, technology, and product to ensure strategies are executable within Trialbee's platform

  • Contribute to a centralised library of therapeutic area and indication-specific content

Meet the team

This role sits within our commercial team, inside our Sales Operations function — the team that turns Trialbee's business strategies into real-world execution. You'll report into the Sales Operations leadership and work shoulder-to-shoulder with a group of experienced Directors and specialists spanning Trial Strategy, Partnerships, and Commercial Operations.

Who we're looking for
  • 5+ years of experience in patient recruitment and retention across clinical trials

  • Proven track record designing and implementing recruitment plans for complex studies across multiple therapeutic areas

  • Hands-on experience with multi-channel recruitment — EHR, digital, social media, registries, community outreach

  • Strong understanding of clinical development, GCP/ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable strategy

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills — you can influence a room and write a compelling proposal

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-moving, global environment

  • Bachelor's degree or higher; scientific or life sciences background preferred

  • Curiosity about AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, and beyond) — a genuine plus

📍 Location

This is a fully remote role, open to candidates based anywhere in Europe.

Why you'll thrive here
  • Purpose-driven work — every strategy you build helps connect patients to life-changing research

  • A genuinely collaborative team where strategy, science, and creativity sit together

  • The chance to define and standardise how Trialbee approaches recruitment strategy at scale

  • Global scope with real impact across a diverse portfolio of therapeutic areas

  • A people culture built on our values; Humble, Kind, Curious and Fun.
