Job description

Position Summary:

Chronic Care Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Virtual Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team in a fully remote role. As a Virtual CMA, you will assist with virtual patient interactions, monitor care plans, and support physicians in delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete Prior Authorizations and Referrals on a daily basis.

  • Conducting outbound calls to patients to monitor their health status and follow-up needs.

  • Performing phone triage to address patient concerns and directing clinical inquiries to physicians.

  • Accurately documenting patient progress and intake data in our systems.

  • Working collaboratively with physicians to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Active CMA Certification or Registration (nationally recognized).

  • Previous telehealth experience is preferred but not required.

  • Ability to sit, talk on the phone, and manage virtual workflows for extended periods.

  • System Requirements: Must have a computer with an i5 or newer Windows processor and Windows Pro (not Home).

  • Must live full-time in the United States and have reliable internet connectivity.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Pay: $18.00–$19.00 per hour.
  • Incentives: $60 monthly technology stipend and a $500 quarterly bonus.
  • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week), with 8-hour shifts available between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
  • Time Off: 9 paid holidays per year and a PTO plan that increases with your tenure (11 days in year one; 16 days in year two).
  • Support: Full benefits package including company-paid life insurance.

Work Environment:

  • Fully remote position requiring a secure, HIPAA compliant workspace with high speed internet.

  • Standard hours of availability are between 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (flexible scheduling available).
