Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3-6 years of sales and customer success experience (B2B and human capital solutions preferred).
  • 1-3 years of people management experience preferred.
  • Technology proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Suite, and Teams.

Requirements:

  • Provide sales and account management leadership to a team of International Recruitment Specialists supporting the largest Summer Work and Travel host employers.
  • Maximise renewals for each season from managed host relationships and collaborate with leadership to develop and execute strategic sales plans to add additional strategic accounts.
  • Oversee hiring and placements for all assigned accounts and consult with hosts on hiring strategies aligned with participant availability and market trends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with compliance, participant services, and other internal teams to ensure host satisfaction and program quality, while maintaining proactive communication and delivering a positive experience for all stakeholders.

Who you are: 

As Manager, Strategic Accounts, you will lead a team of International Recruitment Specialists responsible for providing gold standard service to the largest (platinum) accounts for Summer Work and Travel to drive host employer engagement, job sales, and placements. Your primary focus will be guiding your team to successfully provide high-touch service to defined host employers to increase job renewals year-over-year to maximize CIEE placed participants. You will coach staff on effective account management and sales, resolving host-related issues and requests, and placing participants quickly and effectively to ensure long-term client relationships.


What you’ll do:

  • Provide sales and account management leadership to a team of International Recruitment Specialists supporting the largest Summer Work and Travel host employers.
  • Maximise renewals for each season from managed host relationships.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute strategic sales plans to add additional strategic accounts.
  • Set individualised sales/renewal goals and pipeline targets for team members.
  • Create outreach strategies to engage hosts and provide high-touch support.
  • Provide gold standard account management to host accounts by building long-term relationships, ensuring the international recruitment specialists are delivering on commitments, and identifying opportunities for growth and retention.
  • Oversee hiring and placements for all assigned accounts.
  • Consult with hosts on hiring strategies aligned with participant availability and market trends.
  • Work cross-functionally with compliance, participant services, and other internal teams to ensure host satisfaction and program quality.
  • Ensure a positive experience for all stakeholders through proactive communication and support.


What you’ll bring:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • A Minimum of 3-6 years of previous sales and customer success required, B2B and human capital solutions preferred.
  • A Minimum of 1-3 years of people management experience preferred.
  • Ability to draw conclusions and create strategy based on metrics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail required.
  • Proactive and preference for working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with remote field staff.
  • Ability to investigate and analyse information to draw conclusions and solve problems efficiently.
  • Energetic, personable, goal, and team-oriented.
  • Tolerance for ambiguity and a sense of humour.
  • Technology proficiency required — experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Suite, Teams, preferred.
  • Innovative, creative, and flexible to a changing environment.
