Requirements:

  • Utilize internal systems to research and manage revenue-generating leads for specific markets; conduct discovery appointments with business clients via phone and online to determine needs and provide information on products/services.
  • Manage all steps of the B2B sales cycle, including client account analysis, identifying programs/services that benefit the business, and conducting follow-up and service transactions (e.g., device setup and delivery).
  • Make, accept, and disposition calls; set appointments for themselves and appointments set by the B2B Support Team; generate and present client proposals.
  • Proactively solicit referrals and/or leads, partner with Market B2B representatives to set local appointments, and coordinate device delivery, setup, and support.

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Summary/Objective
Sell Verizon Wireless devices to business clients by providing value and service to win their confidence and ultimately grow our business client base.

 

Essential Functions

  1. Utilize internal systems to research and manage leads that are revenue generating for specific markets.
  2. Conduct discovery appointments with business clients via phone and online to determine need and provide information about products and/or services.
  3. Make, accept, and disposition calls and set appointments for oneself as well as accept appointments set by B2B Support Team.
  4. Manage all steps in the B2B sales cycle to include conducting client account analysis and review, alerting clients to programs/services that would benefit their business, and conducting follow up and service transactions (assist with device set up, delivery, etc.).
  5. Probe business clients for referrals and or leads to broaden scope of influence.
  6. Generate and present client proposal (with or without assistance from Support Team) and direct fulfill orders.
  7. Partner with Market B2B representatives to set appointments local to that Market area and/or to facilitate device delivery, set up, and/or support.

Work Environment
This job may operate in a professional office environment or at a remote location. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. are routinely used.

 

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role; repetitious eye and hand movement is required.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are flexible and vary based on business needs.

 

Travel
5% travel is required for this position (offsite training, etc.). Minimal local travel may be required.

 

Required Education and Experience

  1. High School diploma or equivalent experience.

 

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Previous outside sales experience preferred.
