The Automation Specialist will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing AI-powered workflows and operational automations across the organization. This role will focus on streamlining repetitive tasks, improving communication systems, connecting internal platforms, and helping implement scalable operational processes that improve efficiency across teams.
The ideal candidate is highly systems-oriented, proactive, detail-oriented, and excited about leveraging AI and automation tools to modernize workflows and support business growth.
Build and maintain automations using tools such as Zapier and AI workflow platforms.
Develop and optimize AI-powered workflows to improve operational efficiency across departments.
Support implementation and ongoing management of AI agents and internal AI tools.
Identify repetitive manual processes and create automation solutions to streamline operations.
Manage and optimize operational systems including Slack, Notion, and other internal platforms.
Connect workflows, communication systems, and operational tools across the business.
Organize and maintain SOP documentation and internal knowledge systems.
Troubleshoot workflow issues and continuously improve existing automations.
Collaborate with leadership and operations teams to identify bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies.
Analyze workflows and recommend scalable process improvements.
Support optimization initiatives across operations, customer support, and internal communication systems.
Help improve visibility and efficiency across internal workflows and operational processes.
Stay current on emerging AI tools, automation trends, and operational technologies.
Research and test new tools that may improve scalability, efficiency, and team productivity.
Recommend practical solutions that support long-term operational growth.
2+ years of experience working with workflow automations, operational systems, or AI tools.
Experience using platforms such as Zapier, Slack, Notion, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar tools.
Previous experience supporting operational process improvements or systems implementation is highly preferred.
Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to build and manage no-code or low-code automations.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Comfortable troubleshooting technical and workflow-related issues.
Highly proactive and naturally curious about AI and automation.
