Requirements:

  • Lead customer marketing programs that drive retention and expansion, including onboarding, nurture, upsell/cross-sell, renewal communications, customer health/NPS programs, and customer advocacy
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle email strategy across lead nurture, onboarding, adoption, expansion, and renewal; develop segmentation/personalization and optimize email performance
  • Partner with demand generation and sales to define/tier target accounts and design/execute personalized, multi-touch ABM campaigns; track engagement and ABM-sourced pipeline
  • Own the global webinar program end-to-end (topic strategy, speaker coordination, promotion, execution, post-event nurture) and manage reporting on registrations, attendance, and downstream pipeline

Location: Remote US (continental)

The Opportunity:

In our Customer Marketing Director opportunity, we are looking for a strategic, data-driven marketer to own and grow the programs that keep our customers engaged and buying more Neat, as well as support our later-in-funnel motions after the first sales engagement. You'll sit at the intersection of acquisition and retention, owning email strategy, customer marketing, account based marketing, and our webinar program.

This is a hands-on role with one (1) direct report and the potential to build a small team in time. You'll work closely with our field marketing, sales, BDR, and customer success teams to deliver programs that are measurable, repeatable, and tied to revenue.

What You'll Do:

Customer Marketing

  • Build retention and expansion campaigns in partnership with sales and customer success, including onboarding sequences, nurture sequences, upsell and cross-sell plays, and renewal communications

  • Partner with Customer Success on NPS follow-up programs and customer health campaigns

  • Build the customer reference and advocacy program

Lifecycle & Email

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle strategy across lead nurture, onboarding, adoption, expansion, and renewal

  • Develop segmentation and personalization strategies to improve relevance and conversion

  • Oversee email marketing, setting priorities and reviewing sends and automated programs

  • Own email performance reporting and drive continuous optimization of open rate, CTR, and pipeline conversion

ABM

  • Partner with demand gen and sales to define and tier the target account list

  • Design and execute personalized, multi-touch ABM campaigns across email, content, and digital channels

  • Track and report on account engagement and ABM-sourced pipeline

Webinar Program

  • Own the global webinar calendar end-to-end: topic strategy, speaker coordination, promotion, execution, and post-event nurture

  • Oversee both prospect-facing (pipeline generation) and customer-facing (adoption, expansion) webinars

  • Manage reporting on registrations, attendance, and downstream pipeline contribution

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 10 years in B2B customer and lifecycle marketing with ownership across both nurture and retention programs

  • Hands-on experience with a marketing automation platform, Marketo or equivalent — including build, segmentation, and reporting

  • Solid understanding of CRM data and sales pipeline; Salesforce experience required

  • Proven experience building and running ABM programs alongside sales teams

  • Metrics-driven mindset with a track record of connecting program activity to pipeline, NRR, or expansion revenue

  • Experience managing a team while remaining a hands-on contributor

Desired

  • Experience with intent data platforms

  • Background running webinar programs at scale (500+ registrants)

  • Familiarity with customer advocacy or community tools

How We'll Measure Success

  • Pipeline sourced and influenced by customer marketing and ABM programs

  • Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and expansion revenue influenced by customer marketing

  • Email program performance: open rate, CTR, and pipeline conversion

  • Webinar attendance and post-event pipeline

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $170k – $185k annual salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and internal equity. This position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and an unlimited PTO policy.
