Retired O-6 with command experience at Squadron, Group, or Wing level
Experience as a fighter pilot on F-16, F-18, or F-35 and involvement in combat aircraft operations planning and strategy development
Strong understanding of U.S. defense planning and strategy development, including operational analysis, readiness reporting, and doctrine/CONOPS development
Graduate of SAASS, SAMS, SAW, or similar advanced military planning program; active US Secret security clearance; and experience supporting aviation capability development or institutional capacity-building
Requirements:
Provide advisory support for combat aviation capability development through operational analysis, planning, training, and sustainment planning for a partner nation.
Support aviation operations planning and strategy development, including readiness reporting and doctrine/CONOPS development.
Assist in capacity-building efforts on a USG contract with remote CONUS support and forward engagements with the partner nation.
Evaluate operational plans and operational risk, and advise on risk mitigation, transition planning, and capability sustainment.

Opportunity (Part-Time): Fighter Pilot Subject Matter Expert (SME)- building capacity on a USG contract, supporting a partner nation.
Bottom Line Up Front: Hoplite Group is seeking a Fighter Pilot SME to support a U.S. Government building capacity effort with a partner nation, focused on combat aviation operations, operational analysis, training, and sustainment planning.
Location: Remote support (CONUS) and forward engagements (OCONUS) to selected partner nation as part of a U.S. Government advising effort.
Level of Effort:
Non-travel months: Approximately 30–50 hours/month.
Travel months: Approximately 80–90 hours/month.
Initial travel anticipated July 2026.
Availability: Immediate

Required Qualifications:
Retire O-6 with experience commanding at the Squadron, Group, or Wing level.
