The Capital Markets & Corporate Development (CMCD) team sits at the center of how Lambda funds and scales its infrastructure. We lead debt and equity capital raises, evaluate strategic transactions, and partner closely with executives, investors, and external advisors to execute high-impact deals.

As a CMCD Intern, you’ll build a centralized source of truth for market comparables across debt, equity, and M&A transactions. This work directly informs live capital raises and strategic decisions. You’ll contribute to real transactions, develop investor-grade materials, and gain exposure to senior stakeholders across the company and external partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and own consolidated databases for debt, equity and transaction comparables to support live deal execution

  • Evaluate and present potential M&A targets, including preparing supporting financial analyses

  • Own deal-level financial models including cash flow waterfalls, merger models and potential investment return models

  • Prepare board-facing materials and analysis to support transaction decisions

  • Interface with lenders, bankers, advisors, strategic partners and founders

You

  • Currently pursuing an MBA

  • Have prior investment banking experience or equivalent (e.g., corporate development, private equity, etc.)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in TMT coverage, leveraged finance or M&A

  • Experience executing debt and equity transactions for high-growth and / or capital intensive industries

Salary Range Information

This is an hourly role, eligible for overtime. The hourly rate for this position has been set based on market data and other factors. However, an hourly rate higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
