We are seeking a n Director, AI Operations to serve as the driving force behind AI transformation across our webcasting platform and business. This role is fundamentally about execution and adoption — standing up an AI-enabled code factory, and embedding and scaling intelligent capabilities directly into our products and workflows. Reporting to the VP of R&D and working as a peer alongside our R&D Directors, you will translate AI strategy into tangible, measurable outcomes that accelerate how we build, ship, and innovate. If you're a pragmatic operator who thrives at the intersection of emerging technology and enterprise-grade delivery, this is your stage.

Salary:

140K - 160K

What your impact will be:

1. AI-DLC Code Factory & Development Acceleration (Core Priority)

  • Architect and operationalize an AI-DLC powered software factory that fundamentally accelerates GlobalMeet's development lifecycle — from sprint planning and code generation to automated testing, QA, documentation, and release processes.

  • Standardize and scale AI-augmented development practices across R&D teams to drive measurable improvements in velocity, quality, and consistency across our mission-critical webcasting platform.

  • Initial focus will center on operationalizing Anthropic Claude Code and related agentic development tooling within enterprise-grade engineering workflows.

2. Player-Coaching & Capability Development

  • Mentor and grow the current team's AI fluency, technical depth, and operational maturity — elevating individual contributors and building a bench of AI-capable talent within the organization.

  • Lead by example, demonstrating techniques through the development of key AI features and critical architectural changes.

3. Product Innovation & AI-Embedded Functionality

  • Identify and operationalize opportunities to integrate AI capabilities directly into GlobalMeet's core platform — think intelligent audience analytics, automated event production workflows, real-time stream optimization, and smart compliance tooling for investor relations.

  • Drive exploration of AI-powered features that create differentiated value for our Fortune 500 customers, collaborating with Product and R&D to embed intelligence into the long-term product roadmap and broader technology ecosystem, including third-party integrations and intelligent agents.

4. AI Governance, Risk & Operational Safety

  • Establish governance frameworks for responsible AI-assisted software development, including human-in-the-loop approval models, auditability, security controls, and operational safeguards.

  • Define standards for AI agent execution, repository permissions, prompt management, context handling, and production deployment workflows.

  • Partner with Security, Infrastructure, and Compliance teams to ensure enterprise-grade AI adoption aligns with data governance and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure AI-enabled workflows maintain enterprise standards for resiliency, traceability, and operational integrity across mission-critical systems.

5. AI Research & Emerging Technology

  • Continuously monitor the rapidly evolving AI landscape — models, frameworks, tools, and industry best practices — to ensure GlobalMeet remains at the forefront of applied AI innovation.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies for practical applicability and bring forward actionable recommendations that create competitive advantage, reduce cost, or unlock new capabilities across the organization.

6. Enterprise Change Leadership

  • Serve as the organizational change leader for AI adoption, developing and executing training, communication, and enablement strategies that embed AI into daily workflows across all functional teams.

  • Foster a culture of continuous innovation where AI is not a side project but a core operating capability.

What we are looking for:

  • 15+ years in technology, operations, product, or digital transformation roles.

  • Proven experience building or operating AI-enabled development environments (e.g., code factory models) with measurable impact on engineering velocity and output quality.

  • Demonstrated success selecting and implementing AI-DLC and agentic development at enterprise scale.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills — you lead through influence, not authority. You build credibility rapidly with engineering and product teams and thrive in peer-driven collaboration models.

  • player-coach mindset — you have a track record of developing talent, raising team capability, and building cultures of continuous learning.

  • Proven track record operationalizing agentic software capabilities using AI-DLC technologies and methodologies.

  • Exceptional communication and change management skills — you can translate complex AI concepts into actionable plans for technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.

  • Deep hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and agentic engineering tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar technologies.

What would make you stand out:

  • Experience in enterprise SaaS, webcasting, streaming media, or unified communications platforms.

  • Familiarity with high-availability, real-time systems where uptime and flawless execution are paramount.

  • Background in environments serving Fortune 500 or regulated industries (e.g., investor relations, financial services).

What we can offer:

  • 3 weeks' vacation and 5 personal days
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits starting from your first day of employment
  • Employee stock ownership and RRSP/401k matching programs
  • Lifestyle rewards
  • Remote work and more!
