Job Summary

We’re hiring an experienced Automation Engineer for an exciting remote opportunity with innovative companies building scalable systems and operational workflows. This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience creating automations, integrating systems, and streamlining business processes across sales, operations, customer support, and internal workflows.

You’ll work with modern automation platforms and tools to build solutions that eliminate repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, and create seamless integrations across multiple business systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and maintain automated workflows and business process automations.
  • Develop integrations between platforms using APIs, webhooks, and third-party tools.
  • Build and optimize workflows using automation platforms such as Zapier, Make (Integromat), n8n, Power Automate, or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand workflow requirements and identify automation opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot workflow failures, errors, and integration issues.
  • Create documentation for automation processes and system configurations.
  • Monitor and improve automation performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Support CRM, operations, sales, and customer-facing teams with automation initiatives.
  • Stay updated with emerging automation technologies and best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in automation engineering, workflow automation, systems integration, or related roles.
  • Experience with tools such as Zapier, Make, n8n, Power Automate, HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and software integrations.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and operational workflows.
  • Basic scripting or coding experience (JavaScript, Python, SQL, or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Experience working with cloud applications and SaaS tools.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a remote work environment.
