Freelance Software Tester (21-24 age range)

Hi there! We are Testlio, a global software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

At the moment, we are looking for freelance software testers based in Kuwait to join us in testing a popular telecom app which helps users in this region stay on top of bills, plans, and services. Your testing will help resolve issues and improve the experience of many users across Kuwait.

Requirements

• Age: You must be between 21 and 24 years old.
  • We will be testing a portion of the app only visible for users within this age bracket.
• Special requirements: You will need a Kuwaiti Civil ID, PACI, or Kuwaiti Passport, with no exceptions. 
  • We will be testing out a new user onboarding flow, in which you will be asked to use your real ID in order to create an account. At this moment, we are testing the flow of only these types of IDs. If you do not have this type of ID, you will not be able to participate in this project whatsoever. 
• Location: Must be physically located in Kuwait.
• Availability: Up to 2 hours of testing on a weekly basis. 
• Devices: iPhone/iPad and/or Android Phone/tablet
• Experience: Software testing experience is a plus, but if you are new to testing, we offer free courses to help you learn and grow. We offer a preparatory course that will help you learn more about testing on our website.

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing: Functional testing, know-your-client testing.
• Type of work: short-term, freelance.
• Workload: Regular weekly cadence, with additional ad-hoc requests possible throughout the week
• Pay rate: The pay rate for this is 18 USD/hr.
• Payment: You are paid weekly via PayPal or Payoneer.
