Job description

Position Summary:

The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing assigned accounts to drive revenue and profitability, with a focus on parking access automation, parking solutions, and access control systems in industrial sectors. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies across new and existing customers, identifying market opportunities, and promoting our full range of product offerings to achieve or exceed sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned accounts to achieve revenue and margin goals in alignment with budget, with emphasis on parking automation and industrial access control markets.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for growth, including new customers, product expansion, and deeper market penetration within parking and industrial sectors.
  • Recommend product positioning and pricing strategies that support long-term market share and profitability in parking and industrial access control applications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, integrators, and strategic partners in the parking and industrial access industries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, project management, customer service) to deliver customized solutions and resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Maintain a consistent corporate image across all customer interactions, proposals, and events.
  • Attend trade association meetings and industry events to promote company solutions, products and generate qualified leads.
  • Support the sales team in managing key accounts, negotiating deals, and closing opportunities.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to assess performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective strategies.
  • Monitor and manage expenses in accordance with departmental budget guidelines.
  • Assist other departments as necessary to meet broader business objectives and overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, Economics, or a related field—or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar customer-facing sales role, with a track record of success in parking access automation, parking and security solutions, or industrial access control systems.
  • Strong understanding of technologies and applications in parking operations, automated access control, and industrial access control systems.
  • Ability to travel 50–60% of the time for client visits, site assessments, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/sales management software.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, build consensus, and drive measurable results.
  • Must occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. (e.g., trade show setup).
