Job description

The Opportunity 

Lesley University’s Department of Psychology+ is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach: CPSYC 3901 - Psychology Internship and Seminar; Summer Semester 2026; Fully Remote. Course days and times are to be decided.

Course Description:

In this seminar, students will work in a psychology setting for an average of 12–15 hours per week under the supervision of an experienced professional. Field placements may include research opportunities, community service organizations, family support agencies, residential group homes, and mental health clinics. Students will meet weekly with a Lesley University supervisor for a two-hour seminar to examine issues arising from their field experiences.

Qualities and Capabilities

A successful candidate will have:

  • A Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field

  • Demonstrated success teaching at the undergraduate level

  • Prior supervisory experience (preferred)

  • Experience in constructivist, inquiry-based learning

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
