Full Time  |  $25 - $40 per hour, depending on experience

About Superior Communication Services

We connect people to the world by designing, installing, and maintaining advanced AV solutions that are easy to use. From corporate conference rooms and LED video walls to fitness center AV systems and DirectTV, we deliver technology that works - every time.

SCS operates nationally with offices in Massachusetts, Texas, Illinois, and North Carolina. We serve clients across multiple industries and we’re growing fast. If you’re looking to sharpen your skills, lead crews, and build a career in AV, this is the role.

Our core values: Results Oriented  |  Transparent  |  Disciplined  |  Accountable  |  Aligned

Your Growth Path

At SCS, this role is designed to grow. Field Leads who demonstrate the drive, discipline, and results we expect develop into Field Supervisors and beyond. We promote from within whenever we can. If you come in, own your work, and consistently deliver, there is a clear path forward.

The typical path: Lead AV Technician  →  Field Supervisor  →  Associate Project Manager

Position Summary

The Lead AV Technician is responsible for executing permanent AV installations on time, on spec, and to the standard SCS clients expect. You will lead on-site crews, manage materials, coordinate with Project Managers, and deliver clear field reporting on every job. This role requires someone who can work with their hands and lead a team - the bigger the crew, the more you’re running it.

•      Manage on-site materials: receive, inventory, track, and report on equipment and supplies throughout the job

•      Coordinate directly with the on-site Project Manager and report back to the SCS home office when working remotely

•      Identify scope discrepancies, site conditions, or installation challenges early and communicate them clearly

•      Represent SCS professionally on every job site, with every client, every day
