Roles & Responsibilities

  • Expert in COBOL, CICS and DB2 on IBM Mainframe environments
  • Expert in Mainframe databases and DB2 (including DB2 version 13)
  • Advanced SQL development for DB2, including data modeling, query optimization, and Explain plan analysis
  • Desirable knowledge of SQL Server

Requirements:

  • Develop and maintain COBOL/CICS applications on IBM Mainframe systems
  • Design, model, and optimize DB2 databases; perform performance tuning and query optimization
  • Analyze execution plans (Explain) and implement DB2 performance improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on a long-term automotive sector project; remote work with monthly on-site presence in Barcelona

Descripción del puesto

Buscamos un Analista Programador COBOL con sólida experiencia en entornos Mainframe y especialización en BBDD DB2 para un importante proyecto estable en el sector automoción.

Requisitos técnicos (Must Have)

  • Experto en COBOL / CICS / DB2

  • Experto en Bases de Datos Mainframe

  • Desarrollo avanzado en SQL para DB2

  • Experiencia en:

    • Modelización de datos

    • Optimización de consultas

    • Mejora de rendimiento de BBDD

    • Análisis de Explain (planes de ejecución)

Valorable

  • Conocimientos en SQL Server

  • Experiencia con DB2 versión 13
